About Caffe Gilli... Opened in 1733,Caffe Gilli is probably Florence’s most authentic venues with a wonderful selection of pastries, fine dining and cocktails. We currently have an opportunity for talented Chef de Rang or Commis de Rang with at least 1 years experience to join our team! Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service in an environment that is unique and very special and attention tour guests. Responsibilities will include advising guests, offering descriptions of each item’s origin, taste and preparation methods, communicating guest orders including any special needs to request to the kitchen, coordinating food timings, anticipating guest needs , closing guest checks and providing a distinctive experience. What are we Looking for?... Our ideal candidate should have experience in a fast space environment, , attention to detail, strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills. Team work is essential. The candidate must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays , must posses the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian.
