we are looking for an enthusiastic chef de partie who is happy to fit into a busy team, working to provide excellent french and italian food for our cafe, lunch deliveries and for catering events.

we are currently not open over the weekend so this job is monday to friday.

main responsibilities:
- this role will be based in the hot food station in our production kitchen. this means that the successful candidate must be able to prepare french and italian dishes to meet the high expectations of our clients.
- to organise the workstation and ensure it meets health and safety standards. - to contribute to the production of food for specific catering events and to ensure that the food is produced to the best standards possible.
- to assist with menu planning and the conceptualisation of new menu ideas.
- to ensure all dishes are prepared within the given time frame.
- some rotations may include working in our cafe on the various stations which involves direct contact with our clients - a friendly helpful attitude while under pressure is a key requirement for this role.
